The Rules of Bicycle Locker Rental - Rental Period
- The lockers are rented on a yearly basis, coinciding with the school year (basically September 1 through August 31).
- Rental Fee
- The rental fee is $50.00 per year.
- Key Deposit
- There is a $10.00 key deposit. Upon return of the key, it will be refunded. If a key is lost, another $10.00 deposit is required for another key. If the lost key is found, we will refund the deposit upon its return.
- Refunds
- If you are not satisfied with the lockers for any reason in the first two weeks of the school year, we will refund your entire rental fee. While we would like to know your reason so that we can improve, we will provide the refund in all cases. During the rest of the year, we will make pro-rated refunds if the locker is no longer needed by you.
- Contents
- While these lockers are designed for bicycles, we will not restrict their use to only bicycles. In fact, the locker can be an extra storage space. However, be cautious as to what is stored in them. While the lockers are water resistent, they are NOT water PROOF. No food, gas, flammables, corrosives, or illegal items may be stored in the lockers.
- Damage to lockers
- We will not hold you responsible for any accidental damage to the locker. However, we do expect you to follow some basic rules.
- Use common sense. It is the most important ingredient.
- Keep the door securely closed (locked), even when empty. This will prevent the wind from catching the door.
- The lockers are reasonably sturdy and will easily handle a bicycle. However, such things as a 1000 pound bar bell set WILL cause damage. See #1 above.
